The Ellis 1600 Mitre Band Saw is suitable for virtually all general sawing. Angle cutting is easy with the head of the band saw moving to the left or right. A built-in protractor allows you to select angles quickly and accurately, so you get a true cut every time. If you want to convert from vertical to horizontal cutting (or vice versa), it's a simple one-step conversion. The stock remains in the same position for all types of cuts. Need it at a workstation across the shop floor? With its large rear wheels, relocating it is easy.

The Ellis 1600 Mitre Band Saw is built to perform and built to last

This band saw features an automatic shutoff, a quick-adjusting vice, a 10 x 1 x .035 blade and a seal oil bath worm gear – all as standard equipment. Capacity is a ten-inch round at ninety degrees. The Ellis 1600 Mitre Band Saw is built with heavy-duty steel for maximum strength and durability. Accessories include: single stock stand, air cooling system, 10" x 16" vertical table and blade guard. There is also a stock stand with a micro adjustable gauge.
