Some shops are involved in the fabrication of components that release hazardous components during the welding process. For use with PAPR. Besides hexavalent chromium, other potentially harmful materials in weld fumes include iron, nickel, zinc, manganese, copper, beryllium, lead, and cadmium. The HEPA replacement filters help reduce the number of particles from the HEPA mechanical filtration system. 99.97% of airborne particles are filtered through the masks filters.

Q - Do these come more than 6 to a package? A - Yes, they're also available in a 36-pack. That is part #235-673-36.
Q - How long does a filter last? A - There are too many variables for Miller to specify how often the filter needs to be replaced. In general, though, filters get replaced every three or four days, and can sometimes as much as 7 days.
