EWTh-2 electrode allows for the assets of to be more pronounced than in the case of EWTh-1 due to increase thoria content. This allows current carrying capacity to increase by approximately 20% and increase lifetime as well as resistance. Can be used with AC welding but must weld with a DC electrode positive before AC.
