Miller Dynasty® 400 AC/DC TIG Welder, 208-600 V #907950

The Miller Dynasty® 400 is an AC/DC TIG and Stick inverter that welds aluminum and steel up to 5/8 inch thick. It delivers 3 to 400 amps and connects to single-phase or three-phase power from 208 to 600 V without manual linking. Program memory, locks and limits, and a color LCD interface help production shops get repeatable results from every operator.

• Advanced AC TIG Controls: Independent EP and EN amperage, extended AC balance, and AC frequency adjustable from 20 to 400 Hz give precise control over heat input, oxide cleaning, and arc cone width on aluminum.
• Four AC Waveforms: Advanced Squarewave for deep penetration and fast travel, Soft Squarewave for puddle control and wetting, Sine for a quiet traditional arc, and Triangular for lower heat input on thin aluminum.
• High-Speed DC Pulse: Pulses up to 5,000 times per second to improve arc stability, cut heat input and warpage, and raise travel speeds on stainless and exotic metals.
• QuietPulse™: Selecting a Sine or Triangular pulse waveshape smooths the change between peak and background amperage for the quietest pulsed arc.
• Program Memory: Name, save, and recall up to 99 weld programs. Transfer them between machines through the USB port.
• Locks and Limits: Sets allowable parameter ranges so operators stay within the welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Pro-Set™: Returns balance, frequency, pulse, and DIG settings to proven preset values with one press.
• Blue Lightning™ HF Arc Starter: Gives consistent non-contact arc starts with better reliability than conventional high-frequency starters.
• Stick Performance: Adjustable DIG tailors the arc for smooth-running 7018 or stiffer, more penetrating 6010 electrodes. Hot Start™ adaptive control prevents electrode sticking.
• Cooler Power Supply (CPS): A dedicated receptacle powers the Coolmate™ PRO 4 water cooler directly from the welder.
• Multi-Language Interface: The menu can be set to any of 8 languages.
