The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV offers the same portability and excellent arc performance that has made Miller's XMT series the most popular MIG welding machines on the market. It is equipped with Miller's Auto-Line technology, which allows you to connect to any voltage (208-575 VAC, single or three phases) with no manual splicing and no worries about dirty or unreliable power. It can accept Dinse or Tweco style weld cables, and spool guns, feeders, and remote controls can all be connected with the standard 14-pin receptacle.
Adaptive Hot Start makes starting the stick electrodes easy without creating an inclusion
Lift-Arc helps arc starting by minimizing the potential contamination of the electrode, and a process selection switch reduces the number of control setup combinations without reducing any of these features.
Wind Tunnel Technology protects the internal components of the unit from becoming clogged.
Fan-On-Demand helps to maintain the airflow of the machine only becoming active to eliminate heat and to save on energy costs are things that should not be ignored either.
Q - Will a Miller Bobcat power this?A - Miller says that won't work. They recommend a Big Blue 800.
Q - What input power does this need?A - It has Miller's Auto-Line, so you can use 208 to 575 V, 1-phase or 3-phase input power with no manual linking necessary.
How to start lift-arc trigger hold TIG process:
Start sequence.
Touch tungsten electrode to workpiece at weld start point.
Momentarily depress output switch.
Press switch and release.
Slowly lift electrode.
An arc will form when electrode is lifted.
Stop welding.
To stop welding, momentarily depress output switch and output will shut off. If output switch is depressed and tungsten is not touching workpiece, do not touch tungsten to work. Output will shut off in 3 seconds.
