The Millermatic 125 Hobby MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welder is perfect for a first time or casual welder. Capable of welding between 22ga to 3/16” steel with little to no other restrictions to worry about. Even the power needed for the machine is a standard 115V can be found in many households and needs no special power requirements. There are many ease of use features such as; the Auto-Set function which automatically sets the welder to the proper parameters (0.030 solid wire with 75/25 shielding gas), Quick Select drive rolls makes the setup of the machine even quicker by allowing three grooves of different sized solid wire and flux-cored wire, and coming with pre-calibrated tension knobs that create consistent feeding and further assists in a seamless setup. This unit is easily operated by any skill level. At times welders want to try things out for themselves, and this unit also allows for manual operation to test your skill and learn how to perform on many different mild steels. Don't worry about the machine: it will automatically shut down to prevent damage to itself due to overheating from blocked exhaust or if the duty cycle has been exceeded.
