Product Questions and Answers

Q - What Kohler engine is in it? A - The Kohler CH730 tas powered, four cycle.

Q - Will this TIG weld aluminum? A - Yes, but only non-critical welding. There is no remote amperage control capability on the 225 so you can't use a foot pedal or hand remote control. Also, you'll need a HF 251 high frequency arc starter.

How to Connect Weld Output Terminals:

Stop Engine.
Stop engine. NOTE: Failure to properly connect weld cables may damage your machine or start a fire.
Clean Weld Cable Terminal.
Make sure that the surfaces of the weld cable terminal and copper bar are clean.
Remove Nut.
Remove supplied nut from the weld output terminal.
Attach Weld Output Terminal.
Slide weld cable terminal onto the weld output terminal and secure with the nut so that the terminal is tight against the copper bar.
