The Fusion 160 delivers a smooth, stable arc from either engine power or 120/240-volt utility power, providing a unique combination of versatility and productivity in a lightweight package. The Fusion 160 is just 242 pounds--that's 50 pounds less than similar machines. This provides faster and more convenient transport so you can spend more time welding and less time waiting. With PowerShift technology, the Fusion 160 is also one of the most versatile welding machines on the market. You can use its gasoline engine or its 120/240-volt utility battery to weld. This makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor welding. With inverter technology helping to deliver a smooth, stable stick arc, you can produce consistently clean welds and avoid the time and expense wasted on rework.

The Fusion 160 uses inverter technology to deliver a smooth, stable stick arc that’s forgiving of variations in arc length and travel speed, so it’s easier to produce clean welds that meet specifications and avoid the time and expense of rework.
Easier to transport
The Fusion 160 welder/generator weighs 242 pounds. That’s up to 50 pounds less than similar machines, so moving the Fusion 160 is easier and faster. Less time is spent waiting and more work can get done.

Mounted on a service truck with a fiberglass body, no issues due to weight. I've repaired buckets using 5/32 7018 not stop for hours with no issues then turned around and welded up hand railing with 3/32 7018. It will run a 3" submersible pump all day as well. Quiet and easy to set up and use.
