Notice the Idle RPM's are the same as the Under Load RPM's...the no load electronics only draws 80Volts from your power, as you apply pressure it draws extra voltage to maintain the RPM's---giving you power and a consistant speed for cutting with Metabo's SLICER wheels.

The extremely strong motor runs a “work marathon” for you with patented dust protection for hassle-free reliability. An auto balancer is integrated into the unit to greatly reduce hand vibration while assuring longer life, both for the machine as well as the grinding discs. There is less chance of accidents because the disc brake stops the unit in just two seconds. If the disc jams, the Metabo 1400 Watt Electronic Angle Grinder direct decouples the disc.

Changing the discs is simple and tool-free with a quick flange nut. Just touch the button!
