Engine Driven Miller Bobcat 225 #907498001

Miller Bobcat 225 engine driven welder/generator 9074988001The Miller Bobcat 225 multiprocess welder and generator is used primarily for stick welding, though it can also be used for MIG and TIG welding and gas welding. If you plan on primarily doing MIG or TIG welding it is recommended to review some of our other welder generators.

One of the greatest benefits of the Miller Bobcat 225 is its use as a generator. It can power any electrically powered device, such as lights, battery chargers, air conditioners, heaters, and secondary controllers. The new generation of Bobcat welder/generators are significantly quieter than previous-generation models, thanks in large part to the engine being rotated toward the front for more efficient airflow, which results in significantly lower sound levels. It’s also smaller and lighter, allowing for more room on your truck and easier transport.

The welder is a great choice for ranch or farm jobs and for maintenance or repair operations. It provides quality welds for all types of metals, and can be used as a stand-alone generator. The DC runs smooth and easy, while the AC is great for when arc blows occur. Useful and convenient maintenance displays show engine hours and how many hours left before the next oil change. A 12-gallon tank allows for long run times, and the generator will run up to 14 hours with continuous 4,000-watt power. This allows you to generate more power and fill up less.

Processes:

  • MIG (GMAW)
  • DC TIG (DC GTAW)
  • Stick (SMAW)
  • Flux Cored (FCAW)
  • Air Plasma Cutting and Gouging (PAC) with Optional Spectrum Models

Applications:

  • Construction
  • Fabrication
  • Farm and Ranch
  • Field Maintenance and Repair
  • Welding with an 1/8 inch Stick electrode, 20% Duty Cycle, expect about 20 hours of operation.
  • Under a continuous 4,000-watt generator load, expect approximately 14 hours of run time.
