The Powermax600 40-amp plasma cutter power supply was last manufactured by Hypertherm in 2008. While new Powermax600 models are no longer produced, original consumables and repair parts are still available. If you need technical support, Hypertherm’s Technical Service department continues to support this model.
The Powermax 45 XP is the successor to the Powermax600, and is a more affordable and efficient plasma cutting system. Perfect for anyone from hobbyists to pros, the 45XP is a precise, easy to use machine with greater cut capacity (up to 16mm or 5/8”) and faster cut speeds. Also featuring automatic gas adjustment and compatibility with Duramax Lock torches, the Powermax 45 XP is perfect for precision gouging and marking.
