Powermax 380 (DISCONTINUED): Upgrade Guide & Replacements
Hypertherm last produced the Powermax380 27-amp plasma power supply system in 2007. Hypertherm’s technical service department no longer supports this model, and replacement torches and consumables are no longer being manufactured (effective January 2021).
If you’re looking to upgrade to a current model, consider the Powermax 30 XP. The 30XP is a highly portable plasma cutter aimed at professionals and hobbyists alike, with enough power to cut thick metal and enough precision to cut thin metal. The 30XP allows for two voltage capacities, meaning you can plug it into a 240V or standard household 120V power supply.
